Everyone knows it's bad manners to show up empty handed to a dinner party. But it's equally bad manners to show up and off the host. Which is what happened on one fateful night in 1935, when ten complete strangers were summoned to the luxurious mansion of Lord Dudley Rancour. The confused guests arrived to find Dudley had been wacked along with his butler. Which left the guests, alone, to sort through the clues and find out just which one of them popped a cap in the lord.

If all that sounds like good fiction, it is: it's the premise of Caldwell Theatre's Something's Afoot, a musical mystery based on Agatha Cristie's 1939 novel, Ten Little Indians. The play shows Wednesdays through Sundays till May 17. Visit caldwelltheatre.com for complete showtimes.
Wednesdays-Sundays. Starts: April 17. Continues through May 17, 2009
