If your definition of home is: (1) where you stash your big stuff while youre gallivanting about the country, and (2) is where a loving family waits for your return, go ahead and call Miami home for Steph Taylor. But truth is the piano-toting indie songstress is as much at home on the road as she is anywhere else. Growing up in North Miami, Taylor started tinkling on the ivories at age 16 -- even honing her skills at Berklee College of Music in Boston. Sounding like the quirky, poetic kid sister of Ben Folds with a hankering for early Fiona Apple and Tori Amos, Taylor now plays sold-out shows between here and New England.
