Bet you thought your Dad was pretty darn cool when he taught the pre-pubescent you how to make shadow animals on the wall with a flashlight. But could he visually interpret something like Snakes on a Plane? Hardly. And no matter how drunk or yoga-fied you and your buddies get, you won’t have the talent, time, creativity or strength to do it either. So buy a ticket to see the Emmy Award-winning modern dance troupe Pilobolus work its magic instead. Yeah, they’re the folks you see doing commercials for Ford and pregame dances for the NFL. Using little more than small props and their lithe bodies, this modern dance troupe groups up, balances, contorts, and writhes into all kinds of gravity-defying positions.
