Their styles are as different as their backgrounds, but today, Sole Estate (513 Clematis St., West Palm Beach) brings two of West Palm’s emerging street artists together. JET, a Dane descendant of Vikings, has made a name for herself on the image-hosting site Flickr. There she posts photos of bizarro sci-fi characters who seem to ponder their two-dimensional existence as they pose for the camera; some pensive, others angry. They range from Creepy Cousinz (conjoined twins with evil-ass looking mouths) to Lucha Libre (masked wrestlers who fight for the rights of everyone, “even stupid anarchist punk kids”) to Fat Robotz (robots that are fat). B’Wood’s ancestors didn’t ravage the shores, but he and his boys do ravage the pavement. The skateboarding bandit from Barbados uses pastels to reconstruct the likenesses of pop culture icons Jimi Hendrix and Nas, and uses skateboards as canvases for Jesus’ many faces. The Lounge will provide the libations; DJ Vanity Fair will provide the grooves. Call 561-837-9983.
