They sell clothes, shoes, and accessories made of leather and latex that are reasonably user-friendly — and really fun. Don’t be afraid! The Fetish Factory (855 E. Oakland Park Blvd., Oakland Park) won’t hurt you, unless that’s what you want.

Take a look at the world of “fetish” for yourself: The store has teamed up with the Manor Complex to sponsor Cross the Line, a “pansexual” nightclub event that will bring out South Florida’s best in kinkwear. Gay or straight, girl or boy, dominant or submissive, all you need to get into the party is an outfit that turns you on — think uniforms, corsets, masks, that kind of thing. The premiere event takes place from 9 p.m. until 2 a.m. Sunday at the Manor Complex (2345 Wilton Drive, Wilton Manors). Tickets cost $20 at the door.
