JUSTIFICATIONS FOR RECALL
[as required by Law]

1. Violation of "ARTICLE IV. PURPOSE" Boynton Beach ordinances
states, "The purpose of this chapter is to establish procedures and
standards for the development and subdivision of real estate within
the City of Boynton Beach, Florida, in an effort to, among other
things, insure …; aid in the coordination of land development in the
City in accordance with orderly physical patterns; prevent haphazard,
premature, uneconomic or scattered land development; insure safe and
convenient traffic control; encourage development of an economically
stable and healthful community.

2. Violation of Section 1, City of Boynton Beach code of
ordinances (Ord. No. 96-60, § 4, 1-21-97). The city and developer
have destroyed a train station built in 1926 which could have been
deemed "historical" . Section states, "It is the intent of the city
to encourage the preservation of historically significant buildings
within its corporate limits. All historic buildings other than
single family and duplex dwellings shall be reviewed for historical
significance in all development and construction proposals presented
to the city. Preservation of such buildings will be required unless
it can be established by the applicant that preservation
significantly interferes with the reasonable use of the property."
Our city and developer are in violation of this ordinance by not
performing the required review.

3. As Mayor, his job is to effectively lobby the county, state,
and federal government when funds are needed for city road projects
when a Federal disaster damages the city. The Mayor's malfeasance
has led to lack of funding for City beach facilities.

4. Multiple parents in the Boynton Beach lakes community have
called the Division of Children and Family services at 800-86-ABUSE
to voice concerns regarding their children's safety in regards to
Hibiscus Park.

How very absurd and obscene: I call this a very bad joke. The Mayor’s indecent proposal: Have the homeowners pay for a southern route for a truck route for a big developer. This industrial park is something that we do not want any part of to begin with. Using your tyrannical logic Mayor, why we don’t just let the citizens of Boynton Beach pay for every development? What can you be thinking? Do you know how absurd you and Commissioner(Lawnmower Man)Weiland are? This is incompetence at its finest! Do you know that your new solution for this calls for taxation without representation! This Mayor has no conscience and no soul. The developer must be made to pay for a “Southern Route” if he wants his industrial park to go in. We should not be punished for the city’s/Mayor's incompetence. The city is supposed to protect its citizens from this behavior… This is their job… They have failed.

Laughable… Did Taylor nominate himself? And we all know how the voting system is in this state. Are there any good politicians in Florida? Or is that an oxymoron like best politician in Palm Beach? To me, best politician means best at squashing the voices of the middle class and the poor. Best taking funds and diverting them to meet his own agenda. If this is what is meant, then I guess he has my vote. Undeniably humorous…

EX-City Commissioner David Katz helped fund Mayor Taylor's campaign in November, and he reportedly helped Ron Weiland's campaign to fill Robert Ensler's commission seat after his death. You know... Mr. Katz is a lobbyist for Intown. Now, Commissioner Rodriguez is reportedly dipping into the same pool of funds as Katz. It comes as no surprise that Weiland, Taylor and Rodriguez voted Rodriguez as the new manager of the CRA that comes with a 120K salary. Let's see... I call that a huge conflict of interest. Wake up Boynton Beach! Pay attention, the FBI is. There were reportedly several agents in the audience at last Tuesday's CRA meeting. Watch yourself Katz, the only seat that you and the boys will be getting next election is the hot seat.

Boynton Beach Mayor Jerry Taylor is nothing more than a Gangster. Most of the officials he works with are corrupt, and will soon be discovered. This includes City Commissioner Ron Weiland....Taylor's buddy.

Taylor feels because of his previous experience, he is the logical choice to replace Warren Newell....the disgraced County Commissioner and soon to be Felon. I'm sure it would be a seamless transition....Taylor probably inherited Newell's little black book.
