Best Dentist Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach 2008 - Nadja Horst
Scented candles, ambient lighting, big comfy chairs, and a plasma widescreen... Is this a dentist's office or a health spa? Dr. Nadja Horst's space in downtown Fort Lauderdale is a bit of both, which distinguishes it from those sterile, fluorescent torture chambers that haunted your childhood. But the real proof you're in good hands is a glossy trade magazine in the waiting room, bookmarked to the page that contains an article about Horst. The Q & A section asks what book she's reading, and she answers, "I hate to say it, but mostly dental journals." Kinda nerdy, Nadja, but for us clients it's nice to know we've entrusted our chompers to a real pro.
I had a horrible experience with Tammera the person in charge of everything there. This place is all about the money and you will over pay. I tried to talk to Dr. Horst about how Tammera was handling my issue and she simply disregarded me and said Tammera was the one in charge of billing. So much for patient relations. Having to deal with Tammera is worse than having your teeth drilled. Knowing that the doctor doesn't even care to listen makes it a no-brainer not to return.
Dr. Horst is very nice as is her facility. However I will not return there due to Tammera the front dest coordinator. I had several questions regarding my bill and she never returned my phone calls or emails. She charged me more than what my co-pays were and then added on other charges that she said were not covered by my insurance. I spoke with my insurance about it and although they agreed that the charges were incorrect there was nothing they could do about it and I was responsible. I would never go back there no matter how nice the doctor was.
