Whether her role is intensely dramatic ("Agnes of God", "A Doll's House") to light comedy ("Blythe Spirit", "Steel Magnolias") to avandgarde ("Sandscape", "Last Exit") among many others, her indelible characters are deftly etched and layered. She even surprised audiences recently with her angelic soprano voice in "Out of the Woods".
