When someone suggests a scary movie, are you the type to bury your face in the popcorn, or do you perk up with excitement? If you identify with the latter, then oh do we have the festival for you. Fatality Fest is a three-day horror and science-fiction convention getting ready to transform the West Palm Marriott by fulfilling each one of your spooky cravings. Now is your chance to rub elbows with the kind-of rich and famous, as celebrities who have been in everything from Halloween to The Munsters will be on hand. Not to mention there will be a bevy of film screenings, special events, and a VIP party full of food and times destined to be scary good. Fatality Fest is Friday through Sunday at the West Palm Beach Marriott, 1001 Okeechobee Blvd. in West Palm Beach. Day passes cost $25, weekend passes cost $50, and VIP cost $150, plus fees. The VIP treatment includes early admission and line-skipping privileges as well as an exclusive party at Mellow Mushroom CityPlace Saturday night — tickets to just the VIP party are also available.
