A Grave Romance
Ghost. The Ghost and Mrs. Muir. Casper. Poltergeist romances can make it seem that the only way to find a man with a good heart, is to find one with no pulse. But Ghost-Writer, the play by Michael Hollinger, is more than just another inter-dimensional love story or a good pun. Probing, but not breaking down the fourth wall, Myra speaks at the audience as if being interviewed by a reporter. Shes finishing the final novel of her late employer, famed author Franklin Woolsey. Is she merely his devoted typist determined to finish his final work on her own? Did they have a love affair? Is she receiving inspiration from the other side? Florida Stage's production of Ghost-Writer will reveal its secrets at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday, with a matinee showing at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday -- until April 3. Weekday performance tickets are $40, matinees are $47, and evening performances are $50 at the Rinker Playhouse, located at the Kravis Center (701 Okeechobee Blvd., West Palm Beach).
