Admit it, you miss playing hide-and-seek. Well, we have life-changing information: You haven’t grown out of the game; the game has grown with you. Whether you are a local who knows Delray Beach like the back of your hand or a newbie looking to learn, the Great Delray Chamber of Commerce’s Seek in the City Scavenger Hunt will give you the opportunity to run around the city and tap into your inner child. The grown-up version of the game focuses on the “seek,” with participants receiving a list of 100-plus clues they need to decipher to find the Clue Spots and rack up points. Winners get real prizes instead of playground bragging rights, and in the end, the entire community wins, with funds raised going to local charities. Ready or not, here I come! Seek in the City Scavenger Hunt takes place Saturday from 2 to 7 p.m. throughout greater Delray Beach. Check-in and the afterparty, which includes light dinner and one drink ticket, take place at the Elks Lodge (265 NE Fourth Ave). Only 60 teams will be accepted. The cost is $25 per individual or $100 per team of five. To register your team or for more information, visit seekinthecitydelray.com or call the chamber at 561-278-0424.
