Try not to spill your java on the dance floor or the photography (or your crotch) tonight at “DIALECT in color.” This event/art exhibit is the newest installment of a monthly showcase organized by promoter Enticement Design and DJ collective Twilight Notes. Wednesday’s event will feature photography by local creative types including Vionette Torres, whose cityscapes are as sexy as her shots of bold, alluring women; and Hollywood artist The Raw Art, who shoots graffiti-clad street scenes and provocative, thoughtful portraits of urban landscapes. While your eyes delight in the work on the walls, let your ears catch the groove of an eclectic assembly of DJs. The free event begins at 7:30 p.m. and continues til midnight at Brew Urban Café, (209 S.W. 2nd Ave., Fort Lauderdale). The good people at Brew will take care of your bum and taste buds (like a good coffeehouse should) with plenty of comfy chill-space and refreshments. Call 954-523-7191, or visit twilightnotes.com.
