Each cocktail purchased benefits the Wildlife Care Center, a facility that has rescued, rehabbed, and released everything from native hamsters to horses for nearly 40 years. The $10 cover charge includes one free drink and hors doeuvres, but plan to buy some balloons when youre there, too. Each one contains a prize and one special balloon offers an opportunity to become part of a wild animal release. (Maybe youll recall last time you kicked a one-night-stand out of your apartment. Now wasnt that fun?) Call Ethel Lipoff, the Wildlife Care Centers director of marketing and special events at 954-524-7154 for more information, or visit www.wildlifecarecenter.org.
