The 57th-annual Candy Cane Parade will grace the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk on Saturday in all its minty, pinstriped glory. The theme this year is “Jingle Bell Jamboree.” Now, whether there will be more jingle bells than candy canes remains to be seen. The nuts and bolts of the parade are the same, though: More than 70 units will be participating, with marching bands, floats, every major community group, and, of course, Santa Claus. There will also be plenty of candy canes for you and 30,000 of your closest friends who will be in attendance. A free patron trolley will run from downtown parking garages to the beach, and bleacher seating will be provided along the Broadwalk. The parade will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. and is free and open to the public. Call 954-921-3404, or visit visithollywoodfl.org.
