How inconsistent has this season been for the Miami Heat? It’s managed to win games on consecutive nights only twice this season. The team looks utterly unstoppable one night, completely craptastic the next. It can take down a perennial powerhouse like the Magic only to get laid out by a bottom dweller like Oklahoma the next game. It’s all quite vexing. For his part, Head Coach Eric Spoelstra is doing what he can. And by that, we mean pretty much nothing. “I’m not going to change the starting lineup,” he told the media recently. “There’s got to be a mindset change collectively. The guys want to.” Yeah, that should fix it.

The Heat hosts the Houston Rockets this Tuesday at American Airlines Arena (601 Biscayne Blvd., Miami). Tip-off is 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $10. Visit nba.com/heat.
