Chic (but not Cheap) Eats
Are you a gastronomy geek with a little bundle of cash burning a hole in your chinos? The celeb-studded Palm Beach Food & Wine Fest returns this weekend, and this souped-up version is bigger, longer, and even more tempting for the county's well-heeled culinary devotees.
A host of events falls under the fest's umbrella, including: Burgers by the Beach ($95) from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday; Corks & Champagne with Bites by Norman ($75) from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday; An Evening With Le Cirque -- A Tribute to Sirio ($250) from 7 to 10:30 p.m. Saturday; Food4Thought: A Farm-to-Table Lunch ($200) from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday; SUSTAIN ($125) from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Sunday; Southern Hospitality: Pig and Goat ($125) from noon to 3:30 p.m. Monday; and the Last Supper ($175) from 7 to 10 p.m. Monday. The signature event, the sixth-annual Grand Tasting, is 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at 150 Worth, located at 150 Worth Ave. in Palm Beach. Tickets for that cost $125 per person.
