Come Together for Art

Supporting its mission to fuse the importance of the arts, small business, community, and sustainability, FAT Village will host the fourthl Night Owl Market. The robustness of this year's NOM is due to its partnerships with the Flagler Village Civic Association, the City of Fort Lauderdale, and the Fort Lauderdale Northwest-Progresso-Flagler Heights Community Redevelopment Agency. NOM is marketed as Flagler Village's official community festival and block party. Patrons can choose from goods from more than 80 artists, crafters, designers, and local businesses as they relish all that is offered in the marketplace of pop-up shops, information booths, and food trucks. In preparation for the upcoming monthly greenmarket, the festival will also include an artisan greenmarket area. If you weren't already feeling good by this point, you'll also have the chance to participate in South Florida's Drive Electric event for National Drive Electric Week. Electric-vehicle owners are encouraged to showcase their vehicles with other EV owners and enthusiasts. Seize the opportunity to go green by test-driving various EV models from 5 to 8 p.m., courtesy of local dealerships. Bring a blanket to spread out on the lawn of Feldman Park and listen to music from local bands as well as some words of wisdom from local city and business leaders, including Mayor Jack Seiler, City Manager Lee Feldman, and Commissioner Dean Trantalis. Get a taste of Fort Lauderdale's burgeoning community on Saturday from 5 to 11 p.m. in Flagler Village on Third Avenue between Fifth and Seventh streets in Fort Lauderdale. Enjoy free admission, free parking behind Sears Town plaza via the Fourth Avenue parking lot, free shuttle service, and free beer.
