Have you always wanted to perform onstage but don't have the connections to do so? Are you sick of your friends and family being the only people exposed to your talents? Save the sad stories for later and get onstage for your "5 Minutes of FAME," hosted by one of South Florida's premier comedy showcases, Who's Laughing Now! While the name of the event is self-explanatory, performers have the chance to make their dreams come true, as promoters will be present to scout talent for other shows and events. When it comes to open-mic night, nobody gets left out. Who's Laughing Now! welcomes performers from all areas of entertainment; therefore, spectators will get to see a fair share of comedians, singers, rappers, bands, DJs, and exotic entertainers onstage. Don't wait till the last minute to sign up as a performer.Call 954-800-5789 or email [email protected] with your name, type of talent, and contact information. Performers are expected to bring their own instruments and equipment needed for their performance. As always, dress to impress. Support your local talent on Friday at Studio 5Ten, located at 4510 N. University Drive in Lauderhill. Doors open at 9 p.m., and spots in the audience are provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
