South Florida might be known as the sixth borough, but when it comes to fashion, we are worlds apart from that of major fashion centers like New York, Paris, and Milan. Have you ever heard of Fort Lauderdale Fashion Week? We think not. Well, Delray Beach will be strutting its fashion stuff this Thursday at the second-annual Dress to Impress for LLS Runway Fashion Show at Solita Italian Restaurant. The event will feature more than 40 male and female models making their way down the catwalk with a trunk show by vendors, auctions, a raffle, and a bachelorette/bachelor auction. Proceeds of the auction and VIP seats — as well as a portion of vendor sales — benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. VIP seats cost $50 per person and include a swag bag. The event is free to attend, but dinner reservations are highly suggested. Festivities start at 8 p.m.; show starts at 9:30. Solita Italian Restaurant is located at 25 NE Second Ave. in Delray Beach.
