Find Out What’s Biting You, Will Ya?

There is no age limit to climb from tree house to tree house inside South Florida Science Museum, which will be full of them Thursday for its “Tree House” exhibit. We know you want to be a kid sometimes. Humans never outgrow their fascinations about tree houses and who lives in them. At the Science Museum, you can be interactive — hunt for signs of tree dwellers, cross a wobbly connecting bridge. Or you can be less interactive and play a computerized forest game, harvesting trees the safe way — no wildlife will be harmed. Before your eyes, a forest will transform into a house. You can broaden your horizons by seeing how different places all over the world build tree houses. But that’s just one exhibit. There’s another — “Attack of the Bloodsuckers.” Haven’t you always wanted to hug a giant inflatable tick? Now is your chance. Admission costs $8.95 to $11.95, depending on your age, at South Florida Science Museum (4801 Dreher Trail N., West Palm Beach). Call 561-832-1988, or visit
