There is a big, naked, empty space in the courtyard abutting the Museum of Art (1 E. Las Olas Blvd., Fort Lauderdale). There’s never very much out there. Might as well use it for some pedi-gogical refreshment. Except: This evening, from 8 to 10, the group known as All Together Now — a kind of youth booster group for the museum that brings together arts-minded young folk — is hosting “Amid the Street Noise: Short Films on the Terrace”: an open-air screening of short films from SoFla filmmakers, the enjoyment of which will be enhanced by the proximity of a cash bar loaded up with booze ’n’ snacks. There are only so many seats available, but you can bring your own. Blankets too. Admission costs $5. Email [email protected] for more deets.
