Go to Hell
The word Hell conjures images of insufferable pain and misery unless, of course, its referring to the setting of Makeover, a new stage production by North Palm Beach playwright Mark Poncy.
Touted as a contemporary fairy tale, Makeover is a darkly comedic musical thats peppered with elements of camp and a touch of 50s sensibility. Set in friendly Hell, the play stars an endearing Devil who recently discovered himself in a bit of hot water. It seems this loveable Beelzebub has misplaced a soul now the Infernal Revenue Service is demanding repayment. Ah, but human vanity may come to his rescue! An average-looking housewife on this side of Hades wants desperately to be beautiful, but is she desperate enough to sell her soul?
