Lewis and Clark Remixed
Think you know they whole story of Lewis and Clark? Tamarac Theatre has something to say about that. The Sunshine Boys, the Tony Award-winning play that spins another version of a Lewis and Clark tale, is back by popular demand. The play centers on love-to-hate Al Lewis and Willy Clark, a one-time vaudevillian team known as “Lewis and Clark,” who, over the course of 40-odd years, grew to hate each other. Clark is convinced by his nephew Ben to revive one of the old routines one last time. The rest is cantankerous, Larry David-esque history. The Sunshine Boys opens Saturday and will run through January 30 at the Tamarac Theatre of Performing Arts (7143 Pine Island Road, Tamarac). Showtimes are Saturdays at 2 and 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. Tickets cost $25 and can be purchased online or at the box office. Call 954-726-7898, or visit ttopa.org.
Saturdays, 2 & 8 p.m.; Sundays, 2 p.m. Starts: Jan. 5. Continues through Jan. 27, 2013
