Live From Lauderdale
Stock up on your anti-seasickness medication: This festival is on a boat! On Friday, bump elbows with Fort Lauderdale's glitterati kickoff party. Throw back cocktails at the private bar and enjoy the superexclusive sneak peak of the weekend's performances. (It'll be the perfect chance to snag Instagram-worthy selfies with your favorite musicians.) Start fresh on the mainland on Saturday with Andrew Ripp's pop-rock beats. The lineup boasts eight acts of singer/songwriters and folksy bands on Saturday and six on Sunday. Don't miss out on the afterparty at Revolution Live (100 SW Third Ave., Fort Lauderdale) on Saturday night, and pace yourself, because you'll have to wake up before noon to watch Holly Williams. Ingest your weight in energy drinks and electrolytes; the tunes go on until Lyle Lovett sings. Lauderdale Live is taking place along the Riverwalk across from the Museum of Art at Huizenga Plaza, located at 1 E. Las Olas Blvd. The yacht preview starts at 6 p.m. Friday. On Saturday and Sunday, gates open at noon. A Captain's Pass grants access to all three nights and costs $379. The VIP Weekend Pass grants access to the VIP section on Saturday and Sunday and costs $199. A Weekend Pass is $89, and a Day Pass for Saturday or Sunday admission is $59.
