Whether it's Guinness and corned beef and cabbage you crave or Irish red ale with shepherd's pie, you won't want to miss celebrating St. Patrick's Day in downtown West Palm Beach. Pint glasses will be overflowing Saturday and Sunday as O'Shea's Pub, located at 531 Clematis St., once again hosts "Paddy Fest." The two-day block party, between Rosemary and Quadrille, will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 a.m. Enjoy authentic Irish food, beer, and bagpipers. And listen to live Irish music all weekend long with the Killbillies and the Aumadans and Bodhrans, direct from Ireland. Get inspired to dance an Irish jig and watch performances by the Arnamore Irish Dancers. Feeling competitive? Test your strength and participate in the newest event at the festival, the Celtic 110-pound stone throw. Children are welcome to join the fun too at the kids' play area. The event is free and open to the public. Call 561-833-3865, or visit osheaspub.com.
Sat., March 16, 10-4 a.m.; Sun., March 17, 10-4 a.m., 2013
