Even if it doesn't feel like fall in South Florida quite yet, there's no excuse not to enjoy fall's traditional festivities! Due to its initial success, Tradewinds Park is hosting its second-annual Fall Festival in addition to its monthly public run during the third full weekend of every month. Aside from offering a miniature train ride, the park will feature a variety of games and activities that commemorate the season. Fall favorites include arts and crafts, hayrides, food trucks, farm tours, and pony rides. Kick back into fall from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday at Tradewinds Park, located at 3600 W. Sample Road in Coconut Creek. Ticket prices will vary, depending on your preference of activities. For instance, tickets can cost anywhere from $1 per person to 25 tickets for $20. However, regular activities such as a model steam train ride cost $1 per person. All participants will be required to pay the regular weekend and holiday gate entrance fee of $1.50 per person, while children 5 and under are admitted free. Admission for a vehicle with nine or fewer people costs $8, and commercial school buses pay $20. Open to all ages. Call 954-357-8870, or visit broward.org/parks.
