Decked-out divas will strut the stage at Lake Worth Playhouse 8 p.m. Friday and again on Saturday for the third-annual Playhouse Pride Week drag show Send in the Queens. While modern day queens such as Jennifer Hudson and Lady Gaga will be in the number, so will the likes of such royalty as Liza Minnelli and Barbara Streisand. The ladies of Lake Worth will perform numbers from La Cage Aux Folles, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, and other musicals to raise money to support the 57 year-old non-profit community theater (713 Lake Ave., Lake Worth). Tickets range in price from $35 to $100 and include the pre-show cocktail party in the Playhouse Rehearsal Hall, as well as an after party where audience members mingle with the musical mavens. For ticket information, call 561-586-6410, or visit lakeworthplayhouse.ticketleap.com.
Fri., March 26, 8 p.m.; Sat., March 27, 8 p.m., 2010
