Rock Out for a Family's Future
Rosalie was the apple of her daddy's eye. Unfortunately, her father, Cpl. Daniel Linnabary II, will never see his lovely daughter's first day of kindergarten, the brave Marine dying while serving in Afghanistan. Rosalie was just months old when her father shipped out, and Dan's wife, Chelsea, now faces the uphill battle of raising the child on her own. South Florida's music and arts community has stepped up to the plate, however, and organized an art and music benefit for the pair. Chelsea, a tattoo artist, is the beloved daughter of consummate local music promoter Debbie Kronick (AKA Scenemom). On the bill are Charlie Pickett, To Be Hated, Los Bastardos Magnificos, the 707s, Good Shepard, and the City Lines. The Chelsea and Rosalie Benefit takes place Friday at Five Points Lounge, located at 2608 S. Federal Highway in Fort Lauderdale. Doors open at 8 p.m. Tickets cost $5.
