Chances are you haven't been to a skating rink in years. Most likely, your most recent skating memory was filled with awesome flashing '80s laser lights while jammin' out to Ace of Base. If that's the case, you should probably stay off the rink: You wouldn't want to break anything in your old age. But you could watch the pros brawl at Spring Break Beat Down roller derby event in West Palm Beach this Saturday. At the third home game this season, the Dub City Derby Girls' will play the North River Rolling Renegades. Expect to see some hard-hitting, fast-paced pushing and shoving at this women's roller derby game. General-seating tickets cost $10; suicide seating goes for 15 bucks. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the bout starts at 7:30. The afterparty is being held at the Brass Monkey Tavern. Spring Break Beat Down jumps off at Skate Park, 8125 Lake Worth Road in West Palm Beach.
