Now that the iPod revolution has begun, the concept of owning hard copies of music, pictures, and video is quickly going the way of the eight-track tape. Though its unlikely traditional cameras will soon follow, any up-and-coming photographer not schooled in digital imaging is in for a reality check come job-hunting season. But rather than learn the hard way, such shutterbugs in training can attend Fotofusion 2006, the annual meetup for big-shot shooters. The event brings together a conflux of international photo pros, from National Geographic senior editor Bill Douthitt to rock music photographer Jim Marshall
and tons more. Featuring various seminars and panel discussions, portfolio reviews, as well as Photoshop training, its a good opportunity to see the nuts and bolts of the trade up close.
