Well, maybe it's because you shop at the same clothing stores as everyone else in this world, adding to the fortune of those who have stock in Saks Fifth Avenue, Macy's, Anthropologie, and Ann Taylor. Well, look out, frenemies, because now you'll be showing up at parties looking better than anyone in the room when you find the perfect, unique outfit and accessories at the Downtown Open Market at Royal Palm Place in Boca Raton. Support your local artists, crafters, independent designers, musicians, vintage and antique dealers, specialty food purveyors, and unique local businesses and get ready to shop. And with more than 40 vendors selling items like vintage clothing and accessories, bath and body goodies, pet items, and flea market finds, you'll be sure to find what you're looking for. There will be plenty of artwork to see, and you won't want to miss tasting baked goods and other treats from local eateries. Bring the pets and kids along too for face-painting and other kid-friendly activities. Shop at the Downtown Open Market on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Royal Palm Place, located at 308 S. Federal Highway in Boca Raton. Admission and parking are free. The festival is held once a month on Sunday from September through May, rain or shine.
