Birthday parties come in all shapes and sizes. Lots of people go for the traditional ’80s theme or luau — fun and all, but it’s a been-there, done-that sort of thing. Ink and Pistons Tattoo and Art Gallery is about to turn 1, and it’s hosting a big-ass anniversary party, art show, and hot-rod roundup on Saturday.
From 7 to 11 p.m., the shop will be featuring works of art by more than 30 artists showcasing hot rods, hot chicks, tiki stuff, Day of the Dead, and all other types of tattoo-inspired art. Free commemorative art by J.R. Linton will be available. More than $500 worth of tattoos and piercings will be given away. And, of course, food — including gourmet hot dogs by food truck PS561 and drinks and cake — will be onsite. Ink and Pistons Tattoo and Art Gallery is located at 2716 S. Dixie Highway in West Palm Beach. Call 561-832-4655, or visit facebook.com/InkandPistons.
