The Devil Made You Do It
The Garden of Eden was OK, but sometimes you just crave the forbidden fruit. In the Garden of Earthly Delights, nine burlesque dancers will indulge temptations with slapstick comments and coquettish attire. All performers are part of West Palm Beach's very own burlesque entertainment group, the Glamour Goddesses. Sirens of all sizes, colors, and ages, the Glamour Goddesses hone in on their individual captivating traits for aesthetic enjoyment. In addition to the goddesses, Miami's famed burlesque dancer Sofia Luna will be part of the show, enticing the audience with her naughty craft. The vaudeville-style show will run for an hour and 45 minutes, and entertaining on the sidelines will be a fire-handler and Hula-Hooper. Standup comedian Pam Bruno will also be there cracking jokes with special guest and master of ceremonies Deshon Allen. When the festivities come to an end, Americana folk band Amore Delirium from Boca Raton will go on until the wee hours. This is one garden no one will be banned from. The spectacle will be held Friday at Dada, located at 52 N. Swinton Ave. in Delray Beach. Arrive at 10 p.m. for the show, or at 8 p.m. if you'd like to grab dinner before. Free admission.
