In their heyday, hippies were rebels, outsiders, counterculture subversives out to change the world, living on communes and opening their minds with psychedelic drugs. Nowadays, most of the original hippies have aged into yuppies with jobs. They got loads of responsibilities. But there is that indelible stamp left behind by every faded epoch. There will always be music to remind -- putting on a song from one's youth can take you right back there, instantaneously. For six years now, all the former hippies gather at Seminole Hard Rock (1 Seminole Way, Davie) for "Hippiefest, a Concert for Peace & Love." This year's will take place at 7 p.m. Sunday. Get groovy with Dave Mason, Mark Farner, Rick Derringer, Felix Cavaliere's Rascals, and Gary Wright. The surrounding restaurants and bars will be offering '60s-themed drink and food specials -- or at least approximations of them -- like "Surfer on Acid Shots" and "Grateful Dead Cocktails."
