Art is born in ones imagination you dream something up, and then
you make it happen. Artists and teachers Jean Minuchin and Randy
Hendler dreamed of a space where they could not only display their own
creations but where people could come together to express themselves
and experience art in all its forms. So they did what artists do: They
made their dream real. The World and Eye Arts Center is a gallery with
the goal of exploring social issues and expanding peoples minds.
There will be classes and workshops, coffeehouse nights for
discussions, and changing art displays exploring themes like culture
and identity. Its like the mecca of all things art, and its opening
reception is Saturday from 6 to 11 p.m. as part of the FAT Village Art
Walk. There will be live music, food, and a sampling of the art that
will be featured at the gallery. The reception is free. Call
