Thriller Back From the Dead
Terror alert. When seven strangers are boarded up in a Pennsylvania farmhouse in hopes of surviving a brain-hungry zombie attack, all hell is to break loose. This terrifying night on the farm, as captured in the 1968 George Romero cult classic Night of the Living Dead, proved that a masterpiece doesn't have to cost a million bucks to produce. The low-budget flick, originally screened in black-and-white film, has been restored in color. And to punch up the visual effects a notch, it's available to watch in 3-D at Muvico Pompano 18, beginning on Friday through Halloween. This special 3-D screening is presented by the 27th Annual Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival.
Showtimes are 10:15 p.m. Friday, 10 p.m. Saturday, 9 p.m. Sunday, 10:15 p.m. Monday, 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, and 10:15 p.m. Wednesday. Muvico Pompano 18 is located at 2315 N.
