Psycho Sid Vicious is the sort of case wrestling fans will point to if you insist to them that wrestling isnt real; it may be scripted, theyll say, but it is definitely real. Vicious was a 6-foot-9 blond World Championship Wrestling superstar built like El Capitan and given to powerbombing opponents into paroxysms until 2001, when he suffered a skin-puncturing compound fracture to his left leg. Now apparently healed, he and The Marquee Bruce Santee headline United 2, a steel cage match organized by an outfit called FloridaUnited. Also on the promo materials for the night: fans bring the weapons. Its as real as you make it, kiddies! Get your local wrestling fix on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the Coral Springs Gymnasium (2501 Coral Springs Dr., Coral Springs). Learn more at www.myspace.com/floridaunited.
