Pablo Francisco has called himself “a universal comic” who tries to appeal to all audiences, but if he’s offered extra work based on his Hispanic heritage, he’ll take it. Sure, he’ll host the Latino Laugh Festival for seven million viewers. Sure, he’ll get paired with Carlos Mencia for a Comedy Central show. And certainly, he’ll bust out that accent to spoof Spanish-language soap operas or to do his much-loved impression of Arnold Schwarzenegger as a tortilla vendor. Francisco has a national audience, thanks to appearances on Jay Leno, Mad TV, The Family Guy, and a Comedy Central special of his very own. He presents a Valentine’s Day show at 8 p.m. at the Improv Paradise Live (5700 Seminole Way, Hollywood) and returns Thursday, February 16 through Sunday, February 19. Ticket prices start at $20.
