Calling all detectives! We have a murder on our hands. Whodunit? Mrs. Peacock in the boiler room with a candlestick? Or the butler in the kitchen with a wrench? Returning for its 17th year, Clueless on Las Olas is an annual fundraiser for Partners in Education. Participants gather to bring the family-favorite board game Clue to life. This year’s theme — “Til Death Do Us Part” — is about a bachelorette party gone awry. At 7 p.m. — after the bride is found dead — the crowd will be introduced to six “suspects” and then dispatched to shops and restaurants on Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale to investigate. To help the sleuths solve the crime, “snitches” hanging along Las Olas sell clues for $1. Only 500 “detectives” will be allowed at the crime scene, so sign up early, either online at browardpartners.com or on-site at 5:30 p.m. The event begins at 7 p.m. at SE Ninth Avenue and Las Olas Boulevard. Early registration is available for $35 or $105 for a group of four; otherwise, it’s $40 per person on-site. There’s a slew of prizes, but whoever solves the murder first is rewarded with a Florida Panthers prize package that includes tickets, a locker-room visit, and a Zamboni ride for a kid.
