Michael Jackson, the immortal Peter Pan, takes audiences on a spellbinding journey through his whimsical world in This Is It. Opening in theaters nationwide today for a two-week limited run, the film gives a candid view of the master at work as he prepared for his ill-fated comeback: 50 sold out shows in London’s O2 Arena. The 120-minute documentary features interviews and rehearsals shot from over 100 hours of backstage footage. The man, the myth, and the legend pulls out all the stops with groundbreaking choreography, pyrotechnics and special effects, a set studded with more than 300,000 Swarovski Crystals, and of course, the seemingly gravity-defying Moonwalk.

Witness divinity in motion as the musical genius sings, dances, directs, and perfects his final curtain call. Even in death, the King of Pop remains larger than life, now reigning from an eternal throne. Long live the king. Visit www.fandango.com for showtimes and tickets.
