Since the band’s debut show two years ago, Stonefox has quickly become a local favorite. This indie four-piece uses a driving mixture of 1960s rock and early American blues to gain the attention of South Florida fans who have been force-fed a diet of classic rock cover bands and nu-metal wannabies. With a sound reminiscent of Cream, The Doors, and Led Zeppelin hopped up on Delta Blues, along with a spunky D.I.Y. punk ethic, this prolific touring band is working its way toward becoming nationally known while shunning the bloodsuckers left at the giant music studios. The band is touring and promoting its 12-track debut album, Dead in the Sun, and will be at Propaganda (6 S J St., Lake Worth) with local vintage-style garage pop trio The Pretty Faces at 10 p.m. Tickets are $5.
