In February, local graffiti artists particularly Hox, Five, Enve, and Gere painted a vibrant sea world on the walls of Delray Beachs Tennis Center. In blazing colors, the walls of the centers inside perimeter are now covered with a variety of local fish and a sea anemone, complete with an ocean backdrop. Enticement Design and Twilight Notes are bringing these graffiti artists and more to Dialect Goes Street this Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at Brew Urban Café (209 SW Second Ave., Fort Lauderdale). Another featured graffiti artist will be Hox, whos painting the outside of 18 Rabbit Gallery, a new gallery set to open soon at 18 NW First St. in Fort Lauderdale. The work in progress is still a surprise, but hints include that hes using a spray gun and that the entire building, including the roof, will be painted. (Since the gallery is nearby, stop by to gawk at his new street art.) Also: All the artwork displayed at Dialect will stay on Brews walls until next months gathering. Five DJs from Twilight Notes, including Vinwat and Manuel Manrekords, will spin. This is Dialects fourth event. Its aim is to promote Fort Lauderdales art scene, allowing local artists the ability to show their work. There's no entry fee. Call 954-523-7191 or visit brewurbancafe.com.
