Levitation, vanishings, and escapism: There’s no telling what hocus-pocus David Copperfield will conjure up next. His Intimate Evening show, going down Saturday and Sunday at the Coral Springs Center for the Arts, promises to jolt your imagination by melding dreams with reality through the magic of illusion. Copperfield’s realm is one of mystery: he’ll channel spirits for intimate reunions with the dead or just take onlookers on a journey of improbable fantasy (wow, that almost sounds psychedelic). Touted as the only “grade A” magic show in Las Vegas, this Intimate Evening is guaranteed to bring your dreams to life — or at least leave you feeling trippy.

Hit up the Coral Springs Center for the Arts at 2855 Coral Springs Drive. Tickets range from $68.90 to $79.50, with shows at 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Sunday. Visit coralspringscenterforthearts.com, or call 954-344-5999.
Sat., Jan. 24, 6 & 9 p.m.; Sun., Jan. 25, 1 & 4 p.m., 2009
