The best ’60s surf movies share a common bond of ultimate wholesomeness. For Those Who Think Young is no exception to the clean-scrubbed rule, making it a perfect candidate to kick off Waves of Nostalgia weekend at Cinema Paradiso (503 SE Sixth St., Fort Lauderdale). The four-day-long event culls some of the best, lesser seen flicks from the beach blanket era with pre-screening parties and special guests. Tonight’s selection, For Those Who Think Young, is a film about wholesome kids (Bob Denver, Tina Louise, and Nancy Sinatra) listening to the wholesome comedy of Woody Woodbury while developing wholesome crushes on each other and sipping Pepsi, wholesomely.

Woody Woodbury himself will be there, so you can ask him to dole out a few of those famous zingers at the 6 p.m. pre-party. The film shows at 7 p.m. Tickets cost a mere $5. Call 954-760-9898, or visit www.fliff.com.
