Your love for wine runs deep. You’ve stockpiled enough cocktail charms to outfit the glasses of Ivana Trump’s bridesmaids. From coasters to picture frames, your crafting of “cork art” has truly impressed friends. And when Billy Joel croons, “A bottle of red, a bottle of white,” it’s like he’s peering right into your tannin-stained soul. All that said, it’s time to add something substantial into the wine-tasting process. Head to the Las Olas Wine and Food Festival for starters. The annual street festival on Las Olas Boulevard (between 6th and 11th Ave., Fort Lauderdale) offers tastings from 70 local restaurants (from Dogma Grill to Johnny V’s) paired with samplings of 30 wines, spirits, and microbrews.

The party runs from 7 to 9:30 p.m. tonight. Tickets (with complimentary glass of wine) cost $75 and are available at www.lasolaswineandfood.com. Call 1-800-LUNG-USA (586-4872).
