Looking for hot bitches? Look no further than Barkapalooza 2008, a sunny weekend extravaganza for pooches and the people who love ΄em. (And who occasionally kiss ΄em open-mouthed. You know who you are.) Besides bitches, the tail-wagging attractions include the South Florida Air K-9s, a doggie racetrack, and vendors galore. A pet psychic will even be there to reveal Fido’s innermost secrets to all (avoid this attraction if you’re more a dog’s lover than a dog-lover). Dogless? Give a new leash on life through an on-site adoption service.

And don’t worry, says event contact Beth Vickers. “No one has been bitten; the dogs are leashed and don’t fight.” (Sorry, Michael Vick.) Not surprisingly, she recommends leaving cats at home.

So forget the pussy and come out for a doggone good time at Markham Park (16001 W. State Rd. 84, Sunrise) Saturday and Sunday. Park admission costs $1.50. Visit http://coastfm.com/petapalooza/.
