In a celebrity culture that seems to be fueled by pantyless party girls, naked tweet pics, and leaked sex tapes, its easy to forget what stars look like with their clothes on. Even the majority of red carpet loaners leave very little to our imagination, and the more conservative the dress, the more its picked apart by Joan Rivers and other fashion police. It comes to a relief that in the actual films in which these actors perform, clothes are still king. The new exhibition Cut! Costume and the Cinema at the Boca Raton Museum of Art features more than 40 extraordinary costumes from stars like Johnny Depp and Kate Winslet (Finding Neverland), Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law (Sherlock Holmes), and Heath Ledger (Casanova). These award-winning threads will remind you how what you wear can still be very much an art form. The exhibition begins Wednesday and runs through April 17. The museum is located at 501 Plaza Real, Boca Raton, in Mizner Park and is open Tuesday through Sunday. Admission costs $8 for adults, $4 for students.
