Sure, you may have left behind your wild-child, club-kid days for the peaceful beatitude of parenthood. But we all know better. Under the wet wipes, the diaper bag, the toddler language-building DVDs, and the puréed organic carrots, there still lies a heart that thumps to a four-four beat. Luckily for you, your days of hitting the dance floor, on South Beach no less, aren’t over — they’re just during daylight and at significantly lower decibel levels.

Thank the organizers of “Baby Loves Disco,” a series of original albums and roving one-off parties made for hip, rug-cutting kids and the hip, rug-cutting parents who birthed them. The latest local installment hits South Beach this Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Loews Hotel (1601 Collins Ave., Miami Beach). This time around, the party’s part of the “Baby Loves Disco Superhero Tour,” and as the name indicates, the whole shebang’s got a caped-crusader theme. Come in appropriate costume to boogie down to multigenre beats provided by DJ Firetraxx. The fun includes dance instruction, games, healthy snacks — and absolutely no sleep deprivation, hangover, or regret. A portion of your ticket price ($20 for one or $60 for four) also goes to the online charity donorschoose.org, which helps underfunded classrooms.
