A fresh crop of drag queens and kings are hitting the scene in Wilton Manors in search of a throne. For ten weeks, they've been in drag boot camp, honing their struts (and tucks?) and primping under the intense tutelage of Twat LaRouge, a fierce, bald, Ursula-like figure, and Chocolatta, DeVon Scamp, and Rico Suave. Now the virgin gender-benders are "DRAGuating" at the Manor, the multilevel gay club. Say the trainers, "Grab your big-faced bills and your need for thrills, because we're going tit for tat, dahhhhliiinggg!" Imagine the suspense for these neophytes, debuting their opposite-gender alter egos before a gawking crowd. Will they choke? Will they shine? It's an episode of RuPaul's Drag Race, but live and local.
