Like a seedling pushing its way up through the soil to unfurl into the nurturing sunlight, so grows the art scene in Boynton Beach. The ActivisitArtistA Gallery is playing host to the latest in a series of new art shows, the "Packaging Nature Exhibition," which opens on Thursday and runs through May 17. Through the use of various media, ranging from paint to sound, human nature and the environment are explored. Exhibiting artists include Kim Fay, Elle Schorr, and Ryan Spinelli as well as a live musical performance by Bill Hartmann. In conjunction with Boynton Beach Art Walk, the opening reception begins at 6 p.m. and is free. Artist Saramati Narasimhan will be on-site adorning attendees with her "Henna Imagery" wearable art. ActivistArtistA Gallery is at 422 W. Industrial Ave., Boynton Beach. Visit activistartista.blogspot.com.
